Question

Nintendo Wii is it worth buying my kids want it for christmas?
ive heard that the straps come off wrists and have broken t.vs!!! are they better now?

Answer

I high reccommend getting a Nintendo Wii, if you or your kids are big into video games, or are realitivly new to them.brbrPlus dont worry about the wrist straps.brbrJust be sure to wear the wrist strap properly, have a firm grip on the Wii Remote, and dont use enough force when moving around while playing.brbrAnd also dont try to use swing the Wii Remote with all of your arm. If you did, and if you didnt have a firm grip, then youd have Remote flying and breaking which is a big no no!brbrAll you have to do is lightly flick your wrist and slighly move your arm. Its best to do so, so you dont hurt yourself, others, or break valubale electronics like your own TV.brbrFollow those rules and youll be fine.brbrTheres a reason why in every Nintendo system and games there are health and safety books. So be safe, and have fun.brbrCertain Wii games that involve a lot movement are Wii Sports... and maybe others, but theres really not that much movement to be used when playing.brbrPlus if youre kids like Nintendo and its characters, like Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Link, Zelda, and Pikachu I suggest these Wii gamesbrbrWii Sports comes with the WiibrThe Legend of Zelda Twilight PrincessbrMario Party brPokemon Battle Revolution and maybe Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for the DS if you have thembrbrAlso theres many channels you can play with on the Wii. The Mii channel to make personal customized Mii playable characters. The photo channel if you have a SD card. The everybody votes, a poll taking channel fun for the family. Internet, to well surf the internet. And the shop channel features a library of old NES, SNES, N, and Sega Genesis, and also TurboGFX games to download.brbrAlso there are options to set the parental controls.brbrI hope this helps a whole lot better than what other people said when answering your Yahoo question.
